The Fragile Truth Beneath Our Trusted Methods
About This Session
Today’s shoppers move faster, buy across more retailers, and interact with more brands than ever—yet our research methods still assume they can accurately remember the details. Numerator’s latest Research-on-Research found that nearly 70% of consumers misreported when they last purchased a category, what they spent, how frequently they buy a category, and more, casting doubt on traditional surveys that rely on recall.
Join Michelle Pichman, Numerator’s Sr. Director, Survey Innovation & Enablement, to unpack the findings from this study on the Consumer Say-Do Gap and how verified buyers can close that gap.

Reimagine The Future
About This Session
We’re entering an extraordinary era where Agentic AI will make business operations faster, smarter, and more efficient than ever before. Yet as technology accelerates, the expectations of customers continue to rise. The organizations that will thrive aren’t the ones with the flashiest tools – they’re the ones that master the balance between intelligent automation and unforgettable human experience. This is about trust.
Shawn Kanungo delivers a bold, contrarian view of the near-term future. He illustrates how organizations can harness disruptive technologies while simultaneously elevating the human experience – internally for teams and externally for the public. In an AI-powered world, Shawn argues, the true competitive advantage for companies is not just efficiency – it’s trust.
Drawing from the frontlines of innovation, Shawn Kanungo reveals the counterintuitive approaches that turn market turbulence into transformative opportunity. His practical yet provocative roadmap shows leaders how to embrace uncertainty, experiment at scale, and build organizations that thrive on change.
